STEAM BOAT

The history of steam boats go back to the 18.th Century. As the maritime trade of the world increased and '' time ' became important, boats with steam engines took place of the sailboats in time, and carried on a great importance for almost a hundred year.

After the invention of lighter and easier diesel motors they are removed from the day but they are continuing to be used only as tug-boats and hobby launches as a nostalgy. Mostly in America Canada and England steam boats are still used by many sailors for pleasure on rivers, lakes and calm seas.

The emotional difference between steam engine and diesel engine is similar to the difference between wood stove and radiator heating. A wood fired stove, despite its difficulty acts your feelings much more than an electric or gas stove. Fire, wood and steam exist much before the existence of mankind, and their affect to the peoples emotions have been carried from million years to those days through our genes. On the other hand, central (or electrical) heating gives nothing emotionally and is only a heat supply. A steam boiler and working of a steam engine is similar to a life adventure, it's a great excitement, heat and activity.

For a limited number of emotionally energetic sailors, ZENITH MARINE will continue to produce the first STEAM LAUNCH in Turkey since many years.
